FB Marketplace Scam
We are getting several calls a week from people asking me “where is the wood I ordered and payed for”. Folks are buying wood off of marketplace and being asked to pay up front or put down a deposit for firewood to be delivered. When the supposed firewood seller is questioned they give out our(hot stuff firewood) info to seem legit. The buying customer gives a deposit thinking they are buying from me then find out it’s a scam when calling me. We do not sell wood on Craigslist or marketplace!!! We do not do deliveries!!! And nobody selling firewood should ask for a deposit or payment upfront.
